FIRSTREPORT: STOP DESERTIFICATION (Niger)

Two thirds of the African continent is affected by drought.  When it does rain, cultivatable land is just washed away. To the north of Niamey, in Niger, farmers are fighting soil erosion by building retaining walls from stones.

SECOND REPORT: MORE PLANTING, LESS FELLING (Cameroon)

Worldwide deforestation accounts for approximately 18% of green house gas emissions. In Cameroon, village communities are using original methods to help solve the problem.

THIRD REPORT: CARIBBEAN AND PACIFIC ISLANDS, WIPED FROM THE MAP?

With rising sea levels and frequent hurricanes, the Pacific and Caribbean islands face an ever-greater risk of floods and even submersion. Can anything be done to turn the tide?
