Al Merreikh's Nigerian striker Endurance Idahor died during a league game in SudanGhanaian football authorities have confirmed that a player has died after collapsing on the pitch during a game.
Bartholomew Opoku, 19, was playing for top-flight side Kessben in their clash league with Liberty on Sunday when he fell to the ground.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment but died on Monday.
"It's a massive tragedy and the whole club is in shock. There was no hint he was unwell," Kessben spokesman Fred Acheampong said.
The cause of death is unknown.
